Hard-Core Ab Strengthening:

You will feel the burn in this cutting edge class that promotes strengthening of your deep abdominal muscles which are necessary for core stabilization, athletic performance, and prevention of low back pain. Designed for people of all levels, this class is smaller to provide each participant with skilled, individualized attention based on his/her own strengths and weaknesses. Each class incorporates stability balls, Bosu balls, medicine balls, and resistance cords to help give you defined, rock hard abs. Every class will incorporate cardio, stretching, and strengthening exercises for a comprehensive approach to your fitness and therapy. Classes are designed and facilitated by a California licensed physical therapist. Classes are limited to 12.

Lower Body Evolution Strengthening:

This class is designed for athletes who wish to strengthen their lower bodies for a distinct advantage in their sport as well as for patients in the advanced phase of rehabilitation. Strengthening and stabilization exercises are focused on ankle, knee, hip and core alignment with dynamic exercises. Appropriate for anyone who needs strength, balance, and endurance required for excellence with running, jumping, biking, and directional changes. Every class will incorporate cardio, stretching, and strengthening exercises for a comprehensive approach to your fitness and therapy. Classes are designed and facilitated by a California licensed physical therapist. Classes are limited to 12.

Upper Body Evolution Strengthening:

This revolutionary class is designed to strengthen your upper body using state of the art approaches to maintain proper mechanics to rehabilitate injured shoulders and prevent the chance for future injury. This class is also designed to optimize athletic performance as well as strengthen and tone your chest, back, arms and shoulders. Every class will incorporate cardio, stretching, and strengthening exercises for a comprehensive approach to your fitness and therapy. Classes are designed and facilitated by a California licensed physical therapist. Classes are limited to 12.

TRX:
A killer combination of cardio and strengthening using the TRX suspension training system. Use your own body weight for complete body workout including strengthening and endurance training. You are safely guided through hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries. Get strong, lean and fit as you work out like the professionals with this unique system.

Indoor Cycling:
A challenging cardio workout on a stationary bike which incorporate endurance, interval training, strengthening, and recovery. Each class is different which will motivate you and challenge your muscles in new and unique ways. Special instruction and hands-on guidance will be given to each student for proper body alignment and biking mechanics to reduce risk of injury and optimize your workout. Class size is limited to provide optimal attention for each student.

RAS (Run and Stretch):

Join our extra mile run club for a group 4 mile or 7 mile run followed by an optional 20 minute foam roll and stretch class (for a $10 class fee).

Triathlon Class:
This class is specifically designed for triathletes. This physical therapist-designed and administered program will reduce your risk of injury and improve your performance for the upcoming triathlon season. The 45 minute class will address all the typical structural alignment and muscular weakness issues that plague triathletes through the course of training. There will be an extensive focus on core musculature strengthening, scapular stabilization, balance/proprioceptive training, and flexibility work. The risk of developing shoulder pain, patellofemoral syndrome, IT Band syndrome, hip bursitis, shin splints, etc will be significantly reduced with the exercises in this class. Don't let the stresses of training cause an injury before you seek intervention!


Balance and Fitness Class:

The balance and fitness class is a class for those who might feel unsteady on their feet, need a closely supervised exercise regimen, want to have fun while working out, and improve the overall quality of their life. This class differs from other Senior exercise classes in the community because it is taught by a phycial therapist. The class includes seated and standing exercises, as well as resistance training, balance training, and Yoga and Tai Chi prinicples.


* = eligible for insurance re-imbursement. Must have initial evaluation performed by physical therapist and cleared for participation. Must be accompanied by a physician prescription. Most PPO plans accepted.
