Unrestricted Mobility

The G-Trainer anti-gravity treadmill enables users to reduce their effective body weight during exercise to continue training during injury recovery, outdistance conditioning limitations, and build endurance. And it isn't just for athletes—the G-Trainer is designed for everyone from elite athletes who can't afford bench time to individuals whose daily lives don't have room for sitting still.

Natural Body Movement

The user's movement is not compromised by resistance. Unlike a pool which has wave movement and water resistance as factors or a harness system that restricts normal breathing and adds strain to the upper body, the G-Trainer allows for normal body positioning and unaffected foot plant. The G-Trainer's supportive force occurs at the user's core and is uniformly distributed making it very comfortable while allowing for consistent, natural body movement.

Full Range of Motion

Users can walk or run with a full range of motion. While using the G-Trainer, not only do you have a full range of stride but your upper body is not restricted in movement. Other systems that support the user's weight limit the range of motion making full range of motion impossible. Because the G-Trainer allows the user to reduce their effective body weight they're able to even extend their range of motion which means they can condition muscles more thoroughly.

Extended Variable Options

With the G-Trainer, users can add reduction of effective body weight to traditional treadmill variables of speed and incline. Variables can be adjusted and programmed to meet any training, conditioning or therapeutic need. The G-Trainer continually adjusts to ensure the accuracy of set variables is consistent throughout a user's session.

Broad Variable Range

Weight, speed, and incline settings include a broad range. Effective body weight can be reduced to as low as 20% of the user's body weight with reduction increments of 1%. Speed variables can be adjusted up to 18 miles per hour in forward motion or 10 miles per hour in reverse and incline can be set up to 15%.

In-Use Setting Adjustment

Unlike pools or harness systems, each variable can be adjusted to different levels while in use. This advantage means the user can adjust settings to meet their own performance levels and tailor their workout to account for pain or fatigue as it becomes an issue. A user isn't committed to a programmed workout—variables can be altered on-the-fly if the user, their trainer or their doctor determine it's necessary, without the user having to interrupt their workout.

The Technology

The anti-gravity technology behind the G-Trainer was originally developed at NASA. Air pressure is used to give the user a feeling of unweighting allowing them to set their effective body weight between 20 and 100% in 1% increments.
